An Ode to the Lifeline of Punjab, Ravi. That has gone through immense changes, because of global warming and the textile industry. The Sifur model has always been to love fashion, but also look at the cost of creating a garment, in terms of ethics, production, the life expectancy of said garment and how we stitch and pay our artisans. This hand loom cotton piece layered with a beautiful blue and yellow floral pattern representing growth and life is a remembrance of why we started making garments in ways that were never seen before in a pakistani context. We always encourage the idea of rewearing. thrifting, buying second hand and investing in high quality, long lasting pieces.

We are linking some sources here, in case you want to read up more on the impacts of global warming and the stress on our rivers, because of our collective Lifestyle choices.
